This was my first five-course meal and I was elated. The service was impressive and made for a memorable fine dining experience. I enjoyed hearing the stories that led to the creation of these dishes.
As many of the indigenous ingredients used were new to me, it was interesting to learn about them. The Cacao Podi Idly was certainly a novelty. I particularly relished the Lady Finger Feta with caramelized onions and garlic. Recipe, please?
I was excited with just a hint of skepticism at the idea of fusion food. To my delight, the fusion at TASTE THESAURUS was a resounding success. Each dish was a harmonious blend of familiar South Indian flavours and intriguing global elements.
I found myself savouring every bite, appreciating the inventive twists. I felt a warm sense of satisfaction.

Culture Meets Curiosity
Taste Thesaurus is the result of a decade-long collaboration between two food technologists with complementary skill sets. Akash and Arun have been collecting, curating and creating recipes as a part of their wider interest in food. Their love extends from researching food as sustenance and nourishment to fusing traditional flavours to present in interesting formats.
The creations they present are a result of their research on food history and local ingredients. Together, they collect familiar tastes and reimagine them in a nouveau format. Hence the name, Taste Thesaurus.
